I expect DaffyDucks regression will deepen even further after Steve Jobs imminent and embarrassing iPhone4 announcement on Friday.

He will be dribbling, with a vacant stare, pooing his pants and wetting his bed every night for at least a month.

Actually they might throw a curve ball and announce a whole load of new sized iTampons. Apparently they've been buying up bits for them.

Ok Sony has alot of problems..so dell and toshiba seem to get good reviews....they have one w/ i5 processer w/ win 7 and office for 38k..any opions?
I has a fujitsu ..loved it at first but bad hard drive after 1 year and now the motherboard is "broken"...thats tech jargon from their repair staff here in Bkk..could not be more specific..just told me it's not their policy to repair...........
so is Toshiba ok ..anyone own one out there?

I don't know if Fujitsu still make their own, but the Fujitsu-Siemens kit is f**king atrocious, especially when it comes to component failure. Wouldn't touch them with a bargepole.

As far as Toshiba are concerned, they always used to be quite pricey, but I'm not sure that applies any more. I never heard too many complaints about their reliability. I like HP myself, but they don't seem to keep supporting them as long as you would like. I have a Presario less than 3 years old and they won't support in on Windows 7 (even though it actually runs it).

You can get some comparative reviews of the Toshibas at:
