Thread: TOT switching to ADSL2+

If you find yourself cut-off for no apparent reason, make sure your modem is ADSL2+ compatible, apparently TOT is quietly switching to ADSL2+ without telling their customers. Calling TOT monkeys to solve the problem doesn't help as they are not aware of such a switch and will instead try to confuse you with their usual non-sense.

Took me 3 days and hundreds of phone calls with the monkeys to realize that they had switched without telling their customers. The modem would report 9MB instead of the usual 2MB, and ADSL1 limit is 8MB if I am not mistaken.
