Probably because it was running Windows mobile in some for or another. If you want a sluggish phone and like pissing around with stuff like task managers just to close an app fully then WinMo's for you, if you want a phone that does what its told and works go for an iPhone or Android. Blackberrys are wank.

Last photo one for now. For uploading and sharing I use
Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket
I tried the Flickr app but ditched it for some reason, I think it was something to do with the sign up or not being able to create an account from the app. The Photobucket app does the job, looks nice and it's easy to use and share stuff or get the links to the images for places like TD

Highly recommend this if you don't know about it already

it's a screen/phone cover made from some super plastic film I cant be arsed to read about. As long as you follow the instructions for applying it you should have a nice protector for the screen, it comes with a cover for the back as well but I've never used it. Doesn't alter the sensitivity, cleans real easy and has a lifetime guarantee.
Might seem a bit expensive for a bit of plastic film (£15 odd) but it does the job great, available for other phones as well
if youre American and feeling a bit homesick heres a great app for you.

You get to choose from a range of weapons all with nice graphics, gunshot sounds and you can even hear the shells drop. Just like being back home.
ADVISORY NOTICE: Do not to use it in Pattaya at traffic lights or while using a motorcycle or youll be reminded of Compton in the late 80's homie......
I use Last.fm for anything like that, simply because I already had an account set up. No idea if it works outside Europe but stream fine over 3G in the UK.

I found the free version of "Jungle Crash" to be fun, time-wasting and addictive.
If for any reason you want to take a screenshot on the iPhone its pretty simple.
Hold the Home button and click the sleep button, or vice versa. The screen will blink white and save the screenshot to the camera roll

I do a fair amount of surfing most days and Safari isnt all that bad, be nice if it had a few more feature. Plenty of browsers available for the iPhone even though theyre all based on Safari, gave this one a whirl and its pretty good.
Just do a search for "vanillasurf" and you'll see the features its got over Safari like full screen browsing etc, this could en up being my defaul browser from now on if it stands up to my daily (ab)use.

Full screen browsing and downloads would be the top 2. Vanilla has both so if I come across a PDF I want to keep I can download it and transfer it to my Mac if I fancy keeping it

flip your iPhone for graph
great for divers, fisherman , Surfers, beachgoers..etc..
The camera on the iPhone isnt all that great but its made a bit more useable with the slew of photo apps available.
This one is on offer at the mo for a whopping £0.59!
Its an app for taking panoramic photos and it works pretty well, it leaves a slight "ghost" of the last photo you took so you can line the next one up and then stitches them all together.
Search the App Store for PANO by Debacle Software for cheap panoramic based thrills!
