    Cool Google DNS Servers

Google just announce a DNS Server Service. IP addresses:

    8.8.8.8 and
    8.8.4.4

I am with Maxnet Indy 5MB and today my connection has been hit and miss. I changed the DNS servers on my router and so far the google DNS servers have been a BIG improvement.

Google already knows too much about what I do, with this they'll have a list of everything that your IP looks up on google. They'll now be able to cross reference it with literally every domain name you visit. Data mining.

I have no problem with Google knowing what I do as they have a solid privacy policy, and declared what they collect and what they do with it. Your ISPs don't do that.

I switched my IPs in no time, and I used to use openDNS previously.

No. You'll still be going via the ISP's proxy.

I have not changed from openDNS yet as I am mulling the privacy concerns against using a solid , uptodate DNS server .

    Mull away:

    Your Privacy

    Using Google Public DNS

Google's privacy policy is easy, straightforward, and reasonable.
