Apple forte has always been in mindless little gadgets and visual details, they are really at the top of their game on that regard. That's the problem actually, they focus too much to make it pretty and nice, and fun, and groovy, but still unusable. I guess it makes sense actually, when you can't develop properly software, you hide such inabilities with a cool interface and pretty details. It's all about Marketing.

What gadgets and visual details are you thinking of? could it be the ones the MS copied? What you say about unusable software is much more applicable to MS OS, or do you claim vista is a better, more reliable and usable option than the Mac OS?
Vista is a pile of crock so bad many have stuck with XP, funny you don't find Mac users sticking with outdated systems. You are probably just jealous cos you can't afford the best.
