    Saga of the locked web site

    I'm a newbie at this business of web sites etc. and have obviously committed a heinous crime of not paying for my domain name and web site on time. The result has been that when I did pay for it (2 weeks late) the computers have decided that they should lock the site. Despite almost daily emails to whatever addresses I could find for the administrators, I have had no reply at all!!! What can I do now?? Can somebody give me some advice, apart from not being a dickhead again??!

    Guess it ain't free.

    Maybe you should change your hosting site or let someone else manage it for you. It also sounds as if they didn't notify you that your subscription was due. PM me and I'll get you a reference to a really good host with almost instantaneous customer service response. And cheap!!

    Send an email to nominet they will tell you if it is still avalible same happend to me 2 years ago i had it on auto renew but had new c card but forgot to change it so it did not renew cost me $400 insted of $12 as i still needed the domain for my site if only 2 weeks you still may have a chance to renew
