    Firefox Uninstalling/Reistalling Completely

For reasons you don't want to know about, I would like to completely delete Firefox, and start again.

However, I don't want to lose all my logins and passwords that are stored. Also some of my favourites that I haven't put in my Google bookmarks.

I can't copy and paste my saved passwords, which is my main concern, the bookmarks I can go through and transfer manually I guess. But can some one give me the low-down on the easiest way to do this?
    Cheers.

    Easy
    Install MozBackup

Take a backup of all your bookmarks and settings first and then re-instate them after installing

    It saves everything

    Settings
    Bookmarks
    Passwords
    Cookies
    Extensions

Just make sure you keep the backup in a safe place because it contains all your passwords

    or install the plugin foxmarks

it will synchronise / store all your bookmarks and passwords ( passwords are stored encrypted ) .

works fine for portable firefox also so you can have a USB stick with firefox and foxmarks and everything will be synced.
