Supposedly they are blocking youtube![]()
not so tt&t...
why so this time?
Probably uses too much bandwidth.
I faced the same problem.Now i run
TOR Tor: anonymity online and in Firefox TorButton(a link is on the download page from TOR site).
And because i want to look the videos later in HD from harddisk i use Greasemonkey addon with Betteryoutube(script for GreaseMonkey) addon too.
Tor give me another IP,arrive on youtube. After i click the link download mp4 in youtube i click right save download to somewhere in harddisk and in download window i pause it and copy the url to fit it in FDM FreeDownload Manager.
Works fine
i post this two times? why first time it disapeear?
I use KeepVid (guess the website!)Originally Posted by gjbkk
Just drag the icon to your toolbar, then when you want a youtube vid click the "keep it" button then it takes you to a new page with a link to download the vid directly.
Never failed me yet
anybody else getting shit of youtube to day mine seems to be taking forever to load the homepage i really cant wait to start searching
Having the same problem.![]()
I now have tot and it's working fine here.
I cannot view any youtubes through tot bkk, have not been able to for weeks.
Always get 'so solly, video no longer available'
^ same thing I get when I try to get Utube, fucking TOT, and I pay for 2 megs and lucky to get 500 kbps on the meter and on a 4.4 mg download I averaged 36.5 kbps.
rotten thieving bastards.
they call it GOLDCYBER, but I liked MaxNet Premium for 1050 baht,, this bastard is 1000k.
TOT has been blocking youtube for as long as I remember.
And I have a good memory.![]()
Youtube never worked when i had my TOT IPStar connection.
I have TOT, nothing works on YouTube until I enable Tor. But Tor slows everything down to a crawl.
RealPlayer enables downloads to you hard drive, though, just one click.
this link works well.
doesn't slow it down a bit.

I don't use it. My company does.Originally Posted by Frankenstein

If you want to have ease free internet the internet companies here want you to fork over 3000 or more baht for a business package. The truth is that it is almost as good as the 19.95 a month I was paying for back in Chicago. Paying a hundred dollars for internet is ludicrous, but I do it.
The rich want to keep the poor down in Thailand. They know that they can't afford to pay 3000 baht. The haves block the poor people from seeing anything that might give them any information that leads to change. Mind you that youtube is not the site that will stir the minds of the poor Thais into deciding that enough is enough. It is the thousands of other sites that are blocked that will.
Funny thing is that the majority of underprivileged Thais would never be bothered to view a site that was thought provoking. They are busy reading rag sheet sites that contain celebrity gossip and news about Thai soap stars.
^
not so sure about that chi.
youtube is the only site I can't access and it's easy enough done via proxy.
^^how come I can watch youtube no problem on my 600 baht connection then![]()
this thread is about tot nick.Originally Posted by NickA

The technician and one of the V.P.'s at true told me that a business package has few restrictions and better for international browsing. The other thing they told me is that a business package is not cached and the the home use packages are.
The other thing is that many of Thailand's internet providers do not have to have the government tell them to block a site, they do it on their own for the good of the country.
Often the government suggest that they block sites and they do.
