How to fuck up your computer

Easy really. Just download a copy of Evidence Eliminator and run it.

Thought I'd give my PC a spring clear, nothing better to do. You know, clear all the rubbish out of the registry, tidy things up, get rid of some unwanted shite and generally leave myself with a nice, clean, lean machine.

Ran the program and rebooted. Nothing. Black screen, blinking cursor, not accepting any input from the keyboard or mouse. Spent Friday trying to start my PC using a bootable rescue disk, it told me I didn't have any hard drives. Reinstalled XP yesterday, and today I'm going to be finding and reinstalling all my favourite programs 'cos none of the old ones would run.

People like me shouldn't be let near computers, really.

in future use foxmarks to store your favourites (if you use firefox that is)... it means you can take your favourites to any computer with FF on and if you have to reinstall you have still got them

Got myself some new virus software and a new firewall - I've gone for Avast and Comodo. Got Firefox and Thunderbird, CCleaner and TuneUp Utilities.

Get a remote hard drive to save stuff you are worried about losing in future. Relatively cheap at around $50 now. Also send all your favourite links to one of the free email boxes with big storage like Gmail or Yahoo. Also, don't forget your email address book.

I don't use any programmes that are not free. AVG free anti virus is as good as any. A lot of good freeware here Free Software Downloads and Software Reviews - Download.com .

Just treat your PC like the fragile piece of shit it really is. Every thing you have got stored there can be gone in the blink of an eye. Back up, backup, backup!

New hard drives are cheap now and can be installed in 5 minutes by anyone who can change a spark plug. Just get someone to show you how first time. Its piss easy. Sooner or later your PC is going to crash again. Cant trust the bastards with your important stuff.

    Don't forget this one.

    Product - Evidence Eliminator™

When I googled it, there were more links to pages giving warnings, than to download sites.
