I had a pirated copy of Windows 7.13 Pro which MS replaced with an authentic copy of 10 Pro free together with an activation code.
I have misplaced this.
How do I recover it?

Click the top link and you should see an 'Upgrade now' button. It will do it all itself then in the background

The top link is 3 horizontal lines + start.
The 3rd has an introduction to all the available options.

My hard drive packed up on my laptop, so went up to Pantip and bought a 240GB SSD to replace the 1GB HDD that was already in it. A bit small I know but I was feeling frugal and besides I have a 2TB external drive anyway.

So that was 2,500 baht, plus I bought a 100 baht copy of Windows 7.

Then, got home and fitted SSD myself and installed the snide Windows 7, then went through that link I posted above and voila, now I have a fully activated Windows 10 operated speedier machine.

I would have stuck with the pirated Windows 7.

I had one of those big oversize drive but it was much later than 1981, took 2 persons to carry around because we were so afraid to drop it

Do it, look what pops up, then moan nothings easy to find

I used the word LEGAL not free.

I'm might buy a laptop with Windows 10 installed on it tomorrow.
Depending on how drunk i am will it run ok on the HP Elitebook.?
Still using Windows xp on my old laptop which is pretty much knackered out now.
