After some quick googling I know that it is not possible, the cpu is as I suspected soldered directly on the circuit board, no socket.

These Mobile Celeron is BGA-1170

If you get one of those SSD drives, do you need to reinstall the OS?

Are there different ones for notebooks and PCs or are they all the same?
