Thread: Installing, Using Skype - for 1st time

Now some of you may laugh (or maybe not).

For the first time, I'm downloading and installing Skype to use.

I've always prefered Viber or email instead of talking.


Question:

Do I need to buy a headphone w/ a microphone to hear and talk on Skype?

Well your laptop almost certainly has speakers and a mic. I'd advocate headphones for whoever you call though.

Just press the Skype 'Help' button and then press 'Call Quality Guide' and follow instructions.
