Always used it. Debian, now Ubuntu. GUI is very intuitive, and I do get into a bit of console stuff from time to time.

I've been using various flavours (mostly Ubuntu) since 2006 and drivers (especially for wifi) have been a major ballache in the past but I've not had any problems for a few years. Recently bought a Transcend portable hard drive, bad boy -- didn't do my compatibility research. It worked right out of the box. The driver issues are a lot less than they used to be a few years back.
