Thread: Anyone having TRUE ISP problems in the last couple of days?

No problem here but I'm on True Move air card. No phone line here.

We have been having problems. Saturday morning could not connect at all. I turned every thing off, then unplugged it and plugged it all back in. My computer works on Lan but still some sites load slower. All phones in the house work, but one kids Mac Air works and the other still does not. Simply cant connect to Google or You Tube. But when she goes to high school it fires right up on their wifi, comes home and google and you tube will load but not download anything at all. Strange indeed.

I think I know why but not sure yet how to fix.

TRUE redirects attempt to load Google to it's own site /welcome.truelife.com/. So it would seem that both TD and ther other forum I visit are waiting for google to connect but it never does.

So the question is how to stop TRUE doing the redirect.

I don't think TRUE is doing the redirect. I think you are being hijacked. It is something about the router or DNS address.

Have you contacted TRUE?

Well if TRUE isn't doing the redirect who is. It works fine using TOT as ISP.

I've been having major problems with True for about four weeks. Mainly very low speeds but also frequent disconnects. Moving at the end of the week so stuff them.

Didn't you have a wifi box landline at one time?
