May have to quit Chrome and use another browser are any better than the others?

Please don't all shout at me at once

In the last few days I have been having Google problems. Two forums i go to including TD have been refusing to open, waiting for google.com to do something. So I am wondering if it is my chrome based browser acting up and think maybe I should use another.

Are any of the main stream ones better than the others?

I'm no computer expert but have you tried deleting and reinstalling you browser? I did that and it seemed to have fixed the problems I was having.

I also have found as I am here now that the problem seem to be associated with or aggravated by using True as ISP.

I am connected now using TOT as I have two providers in my office.

That came up as a problem for me also. I couldn't connect to Google and kept getting phony Flash notices come up instead at the google.co.th address. Run the curser over the phony Flash install/delete boxes and it shows google.co.th/setup exe.

Happened on the iPad and PC.

TOT says it was a router problem.

Best thing to do is uninstall chrome then make sure everything is deleted.
Check in documents and settings,Admin,Application Data then look in the Google folder.
I found when chrome updates it leaves loads of older browser folders so clean install is best.

One would think that after 20 years of making browsers, they'd be able to get it right by now.

A PC with no history looks like it's been used by a pervert.

Better still use the "Private Browsing" feature for your more clandestine site visits.

Voila, your history just shows normal use.

To uninstall Google chrome manually all you need to do is .....

Close all Chrome windows and tabs.
Go to the Start menu > Control Panel.
    Click Add or Remove Programs.
    Double-click Google Chrome.
    Click Remove.
Click Uninstall from the confirmation dialog. If you want to delete your user profile information, like your browser preferences, bookmarks, and history, select the "Also delete your browsing data" checkbox.

Now, Go to the Start menu > Run > and type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Google ( if windows vista or 7 )
Now delete the Chrome folder in the directory that opens up to completely uninstall Google Chrome

    All clean

People have yet to learn once you've gained Google's control, it's quite damaging.

Chrome is well known to create unnecessary issues, as well as not being compatible with many things.

    Fuck Chrome and fuck Google.
