This "7. Create Multiple User Account To Protect Privacy
If you own an Android tablet and have to share it with a sibling, a spouse, or your kids, having multiple user accounts will help each of you protect your privacy." is kind of no-brainer, but with multiple users you (the owner) also would do well to heed "3. Lock Your Apps
It is necessary to lock your apps, especially the ones holding private information that you wish nobody but you could see." I'm using App Lock, not bad but it's necessary to tweak the settings a bit to keep it becoming a nuisance.

I must admit, with the price of these devices these days, I'd rather not share.

I have a user account for my kid so he can read on it. I can luck up all the non-educational/art/music apps on his side with App Lock. Before installing App Lock the little bugger would go back to shooting things and racing boats as soon as I wasn't looking.
