Upgrade - Mac Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion

Ive been using Mac Snow Leopard OS X 10.6.8 / 64-bit for some time now , and have no problems . Now I'm wondering if there's any real benefits in upgrading to Mountain Lion .

    Any thoughts ?

    It's only 20$.

I can't remember what the changes were because it was a while ago.

I had a play with Mountain Lion in the Mac shop but I found it to be a bit gimmicky and I couldn't really see myself using the new features so I have stuck with Snow Leopard.

It does everything I need it to, all my peripherals work fine and even though my iMac only has 2GB RAM and a 2 Ghz processor it seems to be able to take everything I have ever thrown at it so I saw no reason to upgrade.

Yup. "Snow Leopard" and "Mountain Lion". How lame is that.

Does it make you feel all rugged and manly while tweeting your latte preferences?

I would not necessarily say that I feel all rugged and manly knowing that I am among the millions of people who are happy OS X users , I do freely admit that I have this certain feeling of being thought of as a bit special , when I venture out into the public gaze, decked out in my black silk shirt with its finally embossed White Apple Mac logo .

The constant streams of admiring glances that I get as I swagger through the IT mall's give me a sort of religious feeling that only comes from belonging to a special band or brotherhood.

Have you ever been punched at a football match?

I was born at an early age and raised in a strict religious non football environment where my father's main interest seemed to lay in the direction of avoiding any contact with physical work and being forcibly kept at her majesty pleasure. I vaigally recall that my dear departed mother when not attending her weekly AA meetings , was partial to attending our local football club home matches , where she could freely mingle among the throbbing un washed crowds to ply her faginesque trade to its best advantage without detection . Sadly as a growing boy , attending football matches was one of the many normal childhood pleasures that my father steadfastly disapproved of , due in part to his fanatical strange belief that normal healthy children don't go around kicking inflated pigs bladders filled with '' their '' air , '' their'' referring to the Zogo's an extraterrestrial reptilian life form that are in secret control of the human race ,and who are covertly infiltrating every facet of man's life , ranging from what they eat to what size of Tupperware containers they purchase. So to answer you question , I can honestly say that I have never been punched at a football match . In the past I do remember being mildly abused with a fresh Marks & Spencer lettuce after refusing fathers demand that I clime onto our council house roof and search the night sky for the imminent arrival of the Zogo's mother ship.

    Well.

Being smacked at a match doesn't make a manwich maker make.

As you look around this room tonight
Settle in your seat and dim the lights
Do you want my blood, do you want my tears
    What do you want
What do you want from me
Should I sing until I can't sing any more
Play these strings until my fingers are raw
    You're so hard to please
What do you want from me

Do you think that I know something you don't know
What do you want from me
If I don't promise you the answers would you go
What do you want from me
Should I stand out in the rain
Do you want me to make a daisy chain for you
I'm not the one you need
What do you want from me

You can have anything you want
You can drift, you can dream, even walk on water
    Anything you want

You can own everything you see
Sell your soul for complete control
Is that really what you need

You can lose yourself this night
See inside there is nothing to hide
    Turn and face the light

What do you want from me

They've always been gay. Although slightly less gay since they changed from the rainbow logo to the white one.

(I do like my iPads though)

I must commend you on such a sterling effort to avoid an original reply and take the easy copy and paste route , I feel I must admit to being very wary about any band that has the the word '' Pink '' in its title , having said that the phrase , when the cap fits , springs to mind.

As my old boarding school headmaster '' drop your trousers '' Benson continually scribbled in my end of term reports , the boy has to try harder .

I think you my have received the same sort of rebuke in you school reports

the only complaint I had moving away from snow lepord was loosing the multiple screens. I used to run vm's full screen on these and it was easy to move between them. the replacement is crap.

As for the religious war, Ive compromised by running osx on a PC
