    Computer as Alarm clock

I was looking for an alarm clock for my computer that would allow me to play a song and came across this clip. It's a short and easy to understand. You need to be running Windows OS. Hope it's useful for someone.

It's just using the task program to set tasks. You can set it to run any program on the computer at a specific time. You probably could use it to stop your kids from using the computer past a certain time or play a love song at a certain time on your girlfriends computer on her birthday. Lots of possibilities. It's just scheduling a task in the background.

You could have YOUR national anthem kick off at exactly 8 am and 6 pm everyday on your shared office computer. You could also schedule a program to wipe the office computer of all its files a month after you leave. Lots of possibilities for the mischievous.

You can also use an Online alarm clock, like Napsody.com

Napsody lets you paste in any YouTube video link to use as your alarm, or you can use the default song: Bohemian Rhapsody!

It does seem like an awful waste of electricity I have to say.

A good old fashioned alarm clock does the trick.

I like my rainfall rhapsody for five minutes called the 'smart alarm' before it goes into full blast.

I must say on many occasion I threw it across the room. Back to basics is best. An alarm clock is so much more replaceable than an expensive toy.

And the previous one I would imagine.
