As for the 7 in tab2, they are 5000 baht cheaper to buy in the UK due to them not having the stupid sim card slot.

All ive had is trouble with Samsung products to be honest,2 tabs and a mobile, and im boycotting them, but if you were offering me, i would opt for the S3 without any doubt

Thanks! I heard so many conflicting reports about the Samsung stuff! My Brother told me not to touch it, but others told me it was the best thing since sliced Obama! Confused - I am thinking of the S3, we used the S2 in England during a trip over there and it was quite nice - the 10.1 is lovely to sit at home with , but I think it is probably too big to carry around.

The other suggestion was the Nexus - my brother (who may I say is a total GAY when it comes to this sort of thing) recommended the Nexus phone for about 200 British Pounds - which I expect is about 11000 Baht - he says the screen is really good, but who knows?

Good question! There are loads of places here advertising the Samsung phones and Pads, until you want to buy one, then they all come out with the same answer - the distributors haven't sent them!

Why advertise what you don't have available - are these people so really ingrained stupid?

21500 is what I have been quoted here, but when you try to order it isn't in stock!

From what my brother in the UK tells me, the days of cheap electronics out in Thailand are well and truly over!

Some of the prices in the UK are way better than what we get over here unless it is some cheapo nasty Thai or Chinese shit that no-one wants anyway.

I have tried a few online dealers for the Samsung bits (I want a Samsung SSD x 240) they all advertise the products here until you want to buy them - then it is a case of "Waiting for supplier"

If anyone knows where I can get the Samsung 830 x 240GB that is real, I'll buy them a drink! also, I am after a Wacom touch - medium tablet (normally about 15000 Baht) again, I need genuine - I do a lot of photo editing. The pads and tablets, well thanks everyone, I probably have enough to go on now - my major worry is getting fake crap! Like a Genius tablet hidden in a Wacom case.

In regards to the Samsung phone, my brother bought one last month, and a mate bought one yesterday from Airport Plaza, 3rd floor (same floor that the Kasikorn Bank is on) They have heaps of mobile phone shops there.

Try Bossy! Mahidol just near the Toyota place, wild! and thank you for a sensible reply. (There are some really nice Thai guys and girls there - not all money grabbing shits) - I know the owner - he is a nut case - everyday I see him he has new dents in his car - how he gets home of an evening? he lives near me, about 50 km from Bossy - drinks Lao Kao in the morning too!
