I fucking have it with the traffic here,

Looking for a chauffeur with the following qualifications:

    - Safe driving skills
    - No drinking, No smoking
    - Not a former taxi driver
    - Speak passable English
    - Must be flexible for working hours (taking me home from my drunken nights out in Nana/Cowboy)
    - 7am to 6pm with 2h per day of driving,

I don't think I could handle being driven around by someone else. If I'm going to get pissed off at the traffic/driving I want to at least be in control whilst doing it

^ yeah, that's what I used to think, but I find myself less nervous and more calm in a taxi than in the traffic lanes these days,

my morning paper, coffee, and some nice music will do just fine in the long traffic lines, and I don't have to spend 20min looking for a parking space once in the office building,

Drivers are a pain in the ass. I've had many of them. Once in a while you'll find a good one. However, I did work them like slaves, made them drive at all hours, made them run my princesses around town doing shopping and other shit.

The problem with a driver is that the hours you need one are so variable, that really you end up working them to death and they quit. The good thing is that he also has to wash the car every day so, you have a sparkling nice car every day.

KingWilly's driver seems like a decent sort. Not a particularly good driver though, but you can't have your cake and eat it...

personally this is one qualification that you WOULD want....

    ie.
years more experience driving = better driver
better understanding of the roads and how to avoid traffic and find shortcuts

Had a driver in KL, a total god-send. 6 AM till 8PM five days a week on the corporate salary. All other times I gave him double the hourly rate... He loved it, made enough money that he and the wife opened a new restaurant

Sadly the restaurant went so well he had to quit me and work the restaurant......

Washing the car is not a problem, it's cheap enough to go to the local car wash, better job, for 100 THB

This is actually getting URGENT !!! I coud always stroll though the office parking and find a guy there, loads of drivers waiting for their boss in the TV room,

If you only need 2 hours a day then why not hire by the hour.
    Prices start at 600 baht/hour
You can choose a different car for each day of the week

Limousine Thailand car rent, car rental, Airport transfer in Bangkok, Phuket, Chiang mai, Pattaya

Doh - I have just thought of the perfect person for you.

How important is the 'speak passable english' bit?
