Vending Machines Gain Ground in Thailand as Consumer Habits Shift

Thailand's vending machine market is expanding as a recent survey reveals 72 percent of consumers prefer the automated kiosks for their convenience and time-saving benefits.

The market for automated vending machines in Thailand has shown significant growth in recent years, expanding beyond snacks and drinks to include items like art toys. This trend aligns with changing consumer behavior that prioritizes a fast-paced lifestyle.

Thansettakij cited a survey by Marketbuzz which found that 56 percent of 977 respondents had purchased from a vending machine within the past month. The primary reason for using the machines was convenience, cited by 72 percent of users. Other key factors included saving time and immediate product availability.

Globally, the retail vending machine market is also on an upward trend. Research firm Grandview Research reported the market was valued at 51.91 billion US dollars in 2021 and projected an annual growth rate of 10.7 percent through 2030.

Businesses are increasingly using vending machines as a new sales channel, with a local health and supplement company recently launching its products in automated kiosks at a mall in Bangkok to offer easy payment and access.

^ I hope you're not talking about me?

To put the lie to that slander, look what I have waiting for me when I get home.

Don't worry, you can have them if they're a bit tight.

Talking of vending machines I watched Harry's garage on YouTube and he stopped at the roadside in France.
And there was a vending machine selling pizza he tried one said it was okay.it was a big pizza despensed in a box that had been cooked .
