External painting part 2
As i mentioned before...this was the colour we went for....
So now the final coats going on:
Got to find some way to minimise the appearance of the external Air Conditioning units / pipework.

TD,
I continue to follow your very interesting thread. Everything is coming along so well. I think that Magnolia shade is going to look just right. Just my feeling. Others rejoice in electric blue.
You are so right about the aircon units. They just get bolted on and really don't help the aesthetics at all. My own (more modest) plans face the same challenge.
Shu
Hi Shu and welcome to the thread at this stage. Glad you have found it interesting. Look forward to reading yours later!
i like the colour, as you say others go a different way. we can always re-paint it later if needed.
Those AC placements do not help but, my question shows the power of this construction community - 2 good ideas from Nev and Norton which i think is the way I will go....
Mae Daeng 2
Oh...the planks are bonded as well s screwed
This plank was removed as it had a split in one end
Nearly finished...
Now starting down the corridor to dressing room / bathroom
Mae Daeng 3
not looking too bad - i really like the wider planks
Now just have to move the planks top the next location
That concludes the wooden floor in the master bedroom
Yeah I thought about it Klondyke but you know K.Pot - hes pretty experienced!
That Mae Daeng is bloody hard - they were drilling all the holes before fastening it down and I am glad to say the screws have been recessed.
He will fill those holes, then sand over the whole floor before the sealant is applied.
It is v painful catching your bare foot on a screw or nail sticking up from the floor
Given that you have used aerated style external brick, is it possible to chase those air-con pipes into the wall?
With that compressor unit attached to the top floor, could it have been dropped to the ground floor with longer pipework and
and small loss of efficiency?
Just thoughts, certainly not criticisms. Just in-case I win Lotto and do a full build in Thailand as opposed to Thai style renos
