Daikin - IMO - make the best AC on the market right now, the last three we have bought have all been from them, Mitsu used to be good but had problems with their Inverter.

They are a bit pricy but I'm OK with that as long as they last proportionately, and theres always the discount to come from Bunthavorn

i too heard Mitsu were ok, Panasonic less so. Maybe someone will confirm or refute this.

Are the Daikin units quiet too?
