yep, piles it is though its a case of ensuring we get down to 'the hard stuff' without joining together. So yeah..10m cages

Yes I know could be better to do tit differently but,,hes given the price to put 50-odd piles down to the solid underlying so its up to him... some might be nearly all the 10m, some might be a lot less, but the fixed price was extremely reasonable, as he owns all his own equipment so no x-hiring. I was happy, so hes doing the job.

Incidentally the fixed price was less than the commercial pile company I located 10km away from the site

Say the pile, vertical fence post is 10 metres long. The Fence 2.5 high.

So, you are putting a pile 7.5 metres into the ground to support a fence?
I understand that not all will be that deep.
