    Anyone recommend the above in Bangkok for dancing to 60/70/80s music?

    Don't know the name but if it's any help a few weeks ago ended up in some really nice Thai disco...they may not know the first thing about anything but they sure know how to put together a great time...

    I'm over 50. Prohibited from entering most Thai dancing establishments, but allowed to sit quietly in the corner and drink expensive scotch, of a select few clubs that cater to the elderly and their female appreciators.

    well, i'm under 25 so i am specifically prohibited from attending any venue playing music older than 1 year ago! 60's or 70's or 80's revivals are definitely out!

    I went to Absolute7 bar on Suk soi7 Saturday night, they played old songs though, lots of old Farang guys seemed to enjoy.

    Some places that have classic rock type music but not much dancing. As KW says Radio City in Patpong can be fun but small dance floor. Elvis/Tom Jones impersonators, Funk bands, Beatles stuff and so on.
