I'm over 50. Prohibited from entering most Thai dancing establishments, but allowed to sit quietly in the corner and drink expensive scotch, of a select few clubs that cater to the elderly and their female appreciators.

^You could also call those female appreciators of elderly amply proportioned farangs "Chub Chasers."
Must be a strange Thai female fetish....![]()
well, i'm under 25 so i am specifically prohibited from attending any venue playing music older than 1 year ago! 60's or 70's or 80's revivals are definitely out!

No1dad, there is a Thai search engine in English that you could try. Seems to be off-line at the mo. Here http://thaipro.com
Failing that, stickmanbangkok has his own take on disco dancing, if you need a laugh.

Aha. That explains a lot.Originally Posted by kingwilly

Some places that have classic rock type music but not much dancing. As KW says Radio City in Patpong can be fun but small dance floor. Elvis/Tom Jones impersonators, Funk bands, Beatles stuff and so on.Originally Posted by mikehh
