Its interesting what part music plays in your life.
I grew up to the sound of my mums music primarliy 50/60's
My sisters and their husbands 60s and 70s
my formative years 70s - early 80s inc Punk, Ska, New Wave, Reggae & Heavy Metal - I don't think that any other period, mid-late 70s early 80s had such a mix of quality original music and musicians who both wrote and played. I partied through the 90s but would not change them for my time.
