Got smashed in the garden tonight,Thinking of you two.
Listening to the misses snoreing now.
Ah the sound of....yeap i have heard her, no sleep for you mate.
Amadou & Mariam - Camions Sauvages....Listen to this song. If this song does not grab you by the vitals and drag you to the pool of sublime enchantment then you are not on the same prescription as me.
Comfortably Numb - Pink Floyd....I'm not the biggest Pink Floyd fan in the world....I'm only 5'10, 85Kg, must be loads bigger than me....Anyhow, this is one of the few Pink Floyd songs that I like....I'm also fond of "Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun", although I understand that this song has been banned on NASA premises.
Back off Margaret, you're on a sugar rush!
Good choice. Me too.Originally Posted by danbo

Very Japanese, very classical. Very recommended.
9 Crimes by Damien Rice. Truly beautiful...."Is that alright with you?"
I can't feeling that Damien's parents were a little lacking in imagination when naming him....'Egg-Fried'....'Sticky'....Loads of better names available for a surname of Rice.
Following recommendations on TD I am now listening to Black Sabbath and Kyuss. I have never imagined myself as a rocker before now, but you know, I might just start growing my hair, wearing a leather jacket, and drinking snakebite. I already stopped bathing last November, so I've a head-start there.
What do you think about it?Originally Posted by danbo

I have started my collection with 'War Pigs' and 'Iron Man' - And I like them both very much indeed. Do you have a recommendation for an album, I'd hate to accidentally pick up an album with that song 'Changes' on it.
I also like the Kyuss tracks, 'Thumb' and 'Gardenia'.
Let's Rock!
I had my first session with the air-guitar this morning....I broke a string after a couple of minutes and then I tripped over the lead and fell into the pretend amplifier....Still, I guess it takes time to perfect such things.
Their self-titled one is probably the best one for you. Sabbath Bloody Sabbath is worth a go if you like the first one.Originally Posted by danbo
My favourites are Heaven & Hell and Mob Rules, but they don't have Ozzy on vocals, but Dio the midget.

Pure class.Sabbath Bloody Sabbath is worth a go if you like the first one.
Thanks gents, I will report back on my findings.
As for current listening pleasure, nothing. I'm enjoying silence whilst I wait for the football to come on the tele. But if someone put a gub to my head and insisted that I choose some music to play I would probably opt for....do you know I can't think of anything; I suppose that if I could think of something then I would listen to it....I'm not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing.
mogwai - i am not batman
Ben Harper - The Drugs Don't Work
Air Formation - Into View.
The Streets
