Living in Perth WA in my young days, weren't too many good touring bands, but did get to see an early Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds in 1985 on The Firstborn Is Dead tour; even found a setlist online.

They were supported by 'I put a spell on you' Screamin' Jay Hawkins.

i listen to a streaming internet radio station called "bluesmen channel".

its 24 hour non stop, no ads, guitar driven blues. highly recommended if you like that kind of music.

That takes me back. I had something similar, in green. Clipped it to the bleed plug on the bedroom radiator and listed to Caroline under the bedsheets. In the space-age sixties, 'germanium' seemed very exotic.
