You're not wrong mate. I had stomach problems at a young age. I used to go days barely eating a thing, and it caught up with me in the end. Best thing that ever happened to me to be honest, as I went from piss head to almost T-total over night.Originally Posted by Perota
If I could still drink now with out any problems, I would undoubtedly still be drinking far more than I should. Much happier as a result I reckon, but I do miss the fun that only an impromptu bender can offer.
2 sounds -
the distant seagulls
and the rice cooker , which has just gone from cook to warm .
^Nice!
This kid is amazing.
Today is Teacher's day in Korea and I taught this song to my students. Lovely!
she's singing about getting done in her choccy starfish...
Caught an Anchorman 2 trailer and heard this song in the background.
Another 70s song used in Anchorman
If you want to be brave
And reach for the top of the sky
And the farthest point on the horizon
Do you know who you'll meet there
Great soldiers and seafarers,
Artists and dreamers
Who need to be close, close to the light
They need to be in danger of burning by fire
And I, I want to get there
I, I want to be one
One who is touched by the sun,
One who is touched by the sun
Often I want to walk
The safe side of the street
And lull myself to sleep
And dull my pain
But deep down inside I know
I've got to learn from the greats,
Earn my right to be living,
Let my wings of desire
Soar over the night
I need to let them say
"She must have been mad"
And I, I want to get there
I, I want to be one
One who is touched by the sun,
One who is touched by the sun
I've got to learn from the greats,
Earn my right to be living,
With every breath that I take,
Every heartbeat
And I, I want to get there
I, I want to be one, One who is touched by the sun,
One who is touched by the sun.
May the Cyclops eat you next to last.

Astor Piazzolla-Libertango
The Clash: 'Straight To Hell'
The Kinks: 'A Well Respected Man'
Bob Dylan: 'Lay Lady Lay'
I've been getting back into the classics recently. Being in Thailand sparked a renewed interest in classics from the West. Go figure.
