Growing up on rock and blues later liked some prog and folkfolk and classical, rai, house music of teh MDMA era but since 90s mainly Jazz, Weather Report, Mingus Bird, Monk and many many others

I thought this was about the music around in your teens not what you grew up with, I.e. family played etc, then it would be a very different play list.

By the time I turned 17 I had moved on from classic rock due to the influence of new friends in the Navy and learning the best clubs in Tokyo to get laid played a different kind of music …
