Thread: Has anyone seen the new Blade Runner

I just can't understand the praise about it being a masterpiece and best sequel ever that I'm seeing on all the review sites.

I think they should release the alternate version with Ryan Gosling doing a voice over to make it more interesting.

Harrybarracuda is watching as we speak. Sure he can give us a review.

Where? In Bangkok?

Narrow seating and a dirty screen. I wouldn't recommend Imax in Bangers for nearly a 3 hour movie....

i saw interstellar and gravity at IMAX paragon and thought it was fine....yeah the seats were small and cramped, but IMO certain movies deserve IMAX.

I thought the original was mediocre therefore no wonder the new sequel is rated much better.
I don't know if I could watch 3 hours of roller skating.

Apparently the US film critics didn’t like it.

A very good reason for giving it a try. A mate went to see it last night.

Heard it sucks.

As it usually is among most remakes and revised films. Especially when the lead has long been a washed up old coont - should've retired years ago.
Can't improve on the original - yet why do we think we can?

Watched it today in Perth, i liked it.

I've heard it's well worth watching. Regardless, being a long time fan of the original I certainly will.

if you're a fan of the original, i'd be very surprised if you didn't enjoy 2049.
