I looked at how popular that book was in the UK in 2003. The BBC did something called The Big Read - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Terry Pratchett was the novelist with the most multiple novels (15) in the the top 200, coincidentally enough Mort by Terry Pratchett was 65 and The Magic Faraway Tree by Enid Blyton was 66. So you can see I am more that a bit disappointed The Holy Bible didn't make the list (it included 200 books, for Christ's sake). Maybe, if there was a top 1000 list somewhere (not in the UK, obviously)...Originally Posted by "can123"
just read a book called The Long Walk, non fiction about a guy who excapes from Russian Gulags treks across Europe and Asia to freedom. Despite being non fiction reads like a novel.
Not really a comedy but worth a pop.

This thread. But I have had time to re-read Into Thin Air by jon krakauer. I know (I think) that book has been mentioned (prolly by me) on this thread before but if I'm re-reading it, you can re-read about it, eh?
Rereading can be very rewarding...Things may change and your memory will be tested...
At times, I've wondered if I'd really read the book before...
The only indecision usually comes at the book store (do people buy books anymore?) when you have to make these decisions: 1) as you said, have I read this before and, if so, does it warrant a re-read? 2) if unsure, then WTF?Originally Posted by BaitongBoy
