    ??
is your wireless adapter a usb device - what sort ? what OS on your computer ? have you installed the drivers - gone to the linksys support download page and downloaded and installed the latest drivers for your device

what is your wireless access point ? is it your s and do you know how to admin it ?

what encryption/authentication is the wifi access point using ?

we can help , but only providing we do not have to slowly extract this information from you
If you torture data for enough time , you can get it to say what you want.

Linksys has been bought by Cisco and their website is now called linksysbycisco but you should be able to find your driver there.

Thanks but I just unplugged the network cable and it works

Before I use to connect to this site http://www.linksysfix.com , very useful, you just connect to the router through a cable, say "i want to remove the cable", they do all the settings, when it's finished, they ask you to unplug the cable and it's done, you're connected !
This time I had to do all the installation and setting manually, it took a bit longer, especially since i didn't do this kind of work for quite some time, but now it's ok.

Anyway, thanks again for your help, I appreciate it !
