Adobe Illustrator Question

I need to draw a perfect symetrical "Hashed" out line. Any ideas. Similar to -/-----/-----/ but closed.

Funnily enough, I was asked this very same question a few weeks ago by someone else.

Draw a straight line.

Select it.

Select "Stroke", then check "Dashed Line".

Input the size of line and space you require.

Voila!

Have you ever seen a training video for Illustrator? I have one for photoshop by Deke McClelland but can't find one on Illustrator. I need to learn more regarding animation. All my web buttons are starting to look the same, need some fresh skills.

Any suggestions?

go to BT Junkie and search for Adobe for a start.
