Thanks mach for the question and the CMN et al for the answers! I'm trying to write some documentation for my students and really could use snagit!

What the fuck is "Snagit"?

A little piece of software that allows you to copy portions of what is being displayed on your monitor and then manupulate it. Much like using PrtScr, copying into Paint then fucking around with it. With Snagit you can window the part of your display, copy it and paste it directly where you need to. If you're documenting something via screen shots its an invaluable tool.
