I was just thinking back to the time I first discovered Teak Door - I was working for a circus in Pattaya and I was having a chat with RDN cause we were both a bit down in the dumps... Me, cause I was living in a shipping container I had to share with a Moldovan family who were magicians and kept doves and he because he had been sacked as mod and booted off Thaivisa for disagreeing with Doc Pong.

Anyway, he told me about this forum and my first thought was 'what a shit name' so it wasn't until a couple of months later I actually logged on.

I have recently returned and am pleased to see what a sucess it now is, and it's refreshing to be able to talk about what the fuck you want because the man in charge is one of the lads and appears to value the banter and conversation of being human above profit from banner ads.

How does it feel DD, you must be proud.

P.S. I'm still not keen on the name but I have perhaps overlooked the relevance of teak to the forum.

I don't know who Graceless Fawn is but I have heard the nick connected to me before. Not guilty.

That last one I can't remember exactly because I deliberately made it as innocuous as I could, but it was something like that - I don't know how they sussed that one out but it was shortly after Wes and Uma got busted, I had loads of fun with those two!

Ambassador was a classic, not a troll just a veichle for my darker side.

French Fannies didn't do a lot but lasted almost a year and Bunyip was banned after two posts - I can't be arsed to say why but imagining the look on Udon's face as he read it made it al worthwhile.

I developed a short lived obsession for the woman in Uma's avatar. It was some modeling contestant from Dubai called Alexandra Lita. I would love to find more pics of her and I would also love to be able to contact her and tell her she was famous for a while on a Thai expat forum and never knew it.

Wouldn't mind a go on her either.

Unfortuneately I really cant take a lot of the credit, the only thing I can take credit for is registering the domain name, and you don't even foking like it you bstard.

Samwan set up the original software on the server whilst talking me into opening up a forum, me, I had too much work on to even think about opening a forum, 99 percent of the forum descriptions are not mine, the ones with spelling mistakes probably are, moderation generally consists of my posts being trashed and also some of the more nasty members posts being trashed, issues is run by stroller and that bstard deleted my american baby eating thread with nice factual pictures I might add, there are 2 mods rooms as the forum is moderated at differant levels, nobody takes any notice of me in there, and they probably average 2 posts perday between them, thats about as exciting as it gets, but I still cant take credit for the forum as the only thing that makes a forum is the posters, no posters, your better off opening a web page, but I think a forum has to be fun aswell as having info, so we got the top half of the board for info and issues for fun, erm, I mean the captains lounge
