Hey, he's wearing a cricket box.

Hey, BO is doing well, tho. Staying at a $9 or $11 mil beachside mansion (depends on the news reports) and flew over on a 757 or higher. Hey, the guy deserves morning workouts and troop visits. I wouldn't stand up for him either, but the troops seemed to be lining up for photo ops and autographs on MSNBC shots.![]()

Wow, who's the prez elect here? Biden seems to be full of himself...

BO The Magic Negro!
Best satire of the year!

hee all that press attention he was so appreciative of when it served his purposes of getting him elected is now becoming somewhat of a inconvenience and he's already bemoaning it and he isn't even in office officially yet.. Boy is he going to enjoy this microscopic anal cavity exam he's going to be getting on an hourly basis once he finally does take the oath..
BTW did you see him with his ethnic cap on the other day, I couldn't believe he would wear such a thing in public whether his head was cold or not, he was coming from the gym it was too late or I would have posted the picture..![]()
Yeh, and he's got a real hard act to follow. Poor guy must be quaking in his boots.![]()

^ In a word, yes.
I think thats not the bar he's set himself though.![]()

so than you don't have much confidence he's got a very high bar set for himself based on that statement. I'd agree but because he's the messiah he has to accomplish far more than other previous pres or it's going to be a while before we see another of his ilk in this position again..not to mention he is only in his first term if he plans on seeing another one he has to be way ahead by leaps and bounds not just leaps as that won't suffice..

Amazing what one can read into an innocuous remark like this, or maybe not, considering the source.Originally Posted by sabang

Bummer. Gov Richardson has withdrawn his name for Secy of Commerce.
New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson says he is withdrawing his nomination to be President-elect Barack Obama's commerce secretary amid a grand jury investigation.
Obama said in a statement Sunday that he accepted Richardson's withdrawal "with deep regret" but that the governor was putting the nation first to avoid any delay in filling the Cabinet post.
A federal grand jury is investigating how a California company that contributed to Richardson's political activities won a New Mexico state contract worth more than $1 billion.
Richardson said in a statement issued by Obama's transition office that the investigation could take weeks or months and he couldn't ask Obama to delay the Commerce Department's work. Richardson said the investigation will show that he "acted properly in all matters."

^^ What a bummer, considering I reckon he should have been Secretary of State rather than Hillary.![]()
The correct thing to do though, especially given Obamas tough line on corruption. Mebbe if the Republicans had taken the same line with Sarah, they would have lost a few less seats in the last election.![]()
It's still early on for the Obama Presidency. In fact, it hasn't even started yet.
But he seems to be in the dead Center by his appointments.
BO seems very corporate and very pro-business. I understand the positives to such positions, and they are necessary, but it seems there are 2 Obmas:
1. the candidate
2. the President

More backtracking and displays of naivety... I predicted and pointed this out this numerous times in his run up to the election. He just spoke the typical party line and promised things he knew he would have to recant once he was elected and the country of sheep just followed the Messiah blindly down the path. At least I can pronuonce with pride that I wasn't one of those sheep at least and keep my dignity and self respect...
Print Story: Obama advisers: Plan would create up to 4.1M jobs - Yahoo! News
Congressional Republicans reacted skeptically, just as Obama acknowledged that he would be forced to recant some of his campaign promises given the economic crisis facing the country. Even the president-elect's own economists acknowledged their two-year estimates could be wrong.
The 14-page analysis, which was posted online, says estimates are "subject to significant margins of error" — because of the assumptions that went into the economic models and because it is not known what might pass Congress.

Oh yeah, the economic outlook has not changed since the campaigns began.

"Satan" and the "Messiah", and their respective followers and adversaries - ah, yes.
Sorry, I forgot for a moment that in your binary military world there is only black and white.![]()

so spiffie doesn't understand the meaning of the word hypocrisy?? McCain told the hard truth about everything but no one wanted to hear what he was saying and what Obama is now claiming to be his own revelation after the fact, but he (Obama) said what the sheep wanted to hear so they followed.
Now, he was either intentionally politically manipulating and misleading them just to get into office as I said numerous times prior to his election or he displayed a complete lack of real life understanding of what the broad nature of the true picture was=NAIVETY which I also pointed out numerous times as did many others......
it isn't even about Bush it's about his opponent McCain and his blunt, "in your face" honesty being an impediment to his election and how that is already being put into play prior to the Messiah's official inauguration.. The average constituent will take the liar over the frank, honest politician every time because he says what they want to hear and not the painful truth and no one wants to spend the real effort actually evaluating the facts and the history..
Obama isn't 'changing his mind' he's uncovering the truth about his campaign, he's either a liar, as naive as first stated, or both..![]()

I see, wank is following me around again.
Pity I cannot read his posts, the halfwit is on ignore again.
Did he now. Seems to me his hard truth consisted of a statement to the effect the economy was in good shape.Originally Posted by DrivingForce

Ignoring realities and failure to correct them before they escalate into crisis is exactly what got the US in the many predicaments it now faces.
