They are just flat bars at the moment but may change after first test ride, may put risers or longer bars. Did think about some dirt bike bars, dont really know yet untill it comes together but I am sure there will be a list of changes

I just got my triple tree chromed and it didn't turn out as well as expected so will have to return it or find another shop. Will have pics later to post of them before and after. It's a shame they didn't turn out as they are fairly close to me and they seem to have a very good rep around here. Maybe it was a slip-up on their part and everything will get sorted.

Part of the battle to getting a good finish, would be in the preparation. Could try preparing it yourself first and then take it back to re-chrome.

I like Rigger stay away from chroming.

I am not sure of the brand but I think it is a Kuryakan and is a well made sold bit of kit. and it even works fully ajustable and vacum operation for the butterflys. Bought second hand here in Thailand

Heh, your going to have fun starting that in some of the dusty carparks! If you practise you may even be able to hit the bike next to you with stones .

(mental note - don't park on the right of Riggers new bike!)

Went to test ride today and the seat pan wont be ready until tomorrow so put it off until then. I now have all the other bits I needed ie. side stand/ fuel cap/fuel tap, and had to get a bit of cutting done to fit a 18amp battery in, but what really piss me off is the paint job I want on the frame and tins is going to take 3 weeks

Just my 2 penny worth here Rigs but hasn't that design been done a million times?

I remember my old mate Lance building his bike back in the early seventies and the local gut that did the paint work did much the same design.

Your project deserves something original. Christ knows what but hey, just my thoughts.
