how fast does that mean you can get torrents??

This should make you feel better CMN:
178 upload
40 download
Checked it a second time -- 167 and 41

your upload is still faster than mine but I'm more than happy with my downloads.
is it normal to have slower download speeds??
Had been getting really crap speeds with azureus/vuze, changed to utorrent and they are better, but still a bit up and down. Was getting 300-500 KB/s yesterday, but I haven't tried any popular/private torrents yet.Originally Posted by ChiangMai noon

Nick, Ive got a mate trying to use Ubuntu's Live CD with an Acer 4920 but hes having problems with the wifi. You know anywhere he can find some straight forward info on it?
vista desktop is about 3 years behind ubuntu. you have to buy extra software if you want to change how things look and there's no wobbly windows, no cube, no nottin'![]()
