| I noticed even the Fox News people are generally greatly unhappy with her as the choice. They're calling it the "Maverick" McCain choice, but clearly it seems this is an effort to pick up the Hilary Clinton vote. They are forcing themselves to now extolling her virtues. Pretty entertaining to watch.
I think it's a risky choice. I'm not sure Hilary supporters will magically jump to support her just because she's a woman when her views are clearly conservative.
And, above all, for both candidates, the VP remains relatively insignificant. The reason people elect a President is for the candidate himself, not his VP pick. |
