As the gap between the haves and have nots in America widen, claiming he is for the betterment of lower and middle class people in contrast to big business or the rich is far healthier for the economy than what "conservatives" have and will continue offer.
You're going to have to do a much better job than you have so far to discredit Obama so get a grip my fine conservative friends your worst nightmare is about to be a reality. Obama will be the next President of the US. |
Norton, the point is, we had little info about Obama when all the candidates were still in the pack. Initially, I believed (and still do) that he oozes charisma, but I didn't think he'd live to see election day if he was nominated. What policies did he have then? Bring the white house back to the people?
As they evolve, Obama's policies are very much slanted to heavy taxes to bail out or help the lower classes (middle classes? bet their taxes would go up). Sounds nice.
The key premise of the United States of America is that anybody can realize his/her dream. There is just one caveat: you have to WORK for it. The US is not a socialist state, it is a capitalist one. Sure you can go work in a factory, but if you want to build your dream, you can do that more easily than in tax-choked nations, like Canada or Western Europe. And, if you succeed, the government doesn't penalise you for it by making you pay way more to support the lazy gits who just expect a handout, and I would expect more lazy gits if Obama gets in.
Obama is dredging up the old race card, not us. But as he has, so we will respond. His latest comments in Pennsylvania are one of his finest efforts in cleaving that divide. How come he doesn't say that sh*t in the poor black neighbourhoods where folks use guns to kill more than to protect, where preachers spew racist vitriole and where any "spics, honkies or chinks" fear to tread.
Sorry, the more I hear him and his wife speak, the more resigned I am to go against him.
