On one of the last jobs I was on I was running a dredge and couldn't leave to get lunch as I worked thru lunch hour, 16 hours a day.
I would get a couple of sausage biskits/coffee on the way to work at 0600 and at noon had a deck hand on his lunch pick me up a couple of Big Macs/fries and a coke and bring back to me me and as I was sleeping in a motel in the town where were were dredging I would eat in a cafe or fast food for supper and at the end of six weeks I was in good health when I went back to my home in Mexico, plus the $18,000 I made in 6 weeks sure made my bank account a lot healthier too.
