| crowds in the tens of thousands are showing up to hear obama speak. that's a lot of people to show up to hear a politician speak a year and a half before an election. and he wasn't fear-mongering or going negative against his opponents, he was offering a fresh perspective on problems new and old.
i realize it's still early and everyone is one gaffe away from obscurity, but he could be the right person at the right time.
if primary voters decide he doesn't have enough experience, it would be great to see him on a ticket with al gore. the republicans could put up jesus christ (and will probably try) but i still think gore/obama would win. |
