Every telephone call you make, every text you send on your mobile phone, every email and videocall, every financial transaction is recorded, stored, analysed and can potentially be used against you.
Each waking hour you are also deluged with marketing calls and sales pitches - which pop up on your mobile, your hand-held computer and even in your car.
i'd rather have a phlebotomy than a full frontal lobotomy

The Mail = fear for the masses. The Mail Online = 24hr fear for the masses.
The irony of the article is probably lost on it's target audience.
If you're a consumer cow you're probably feeling irate by now, fight for your freedom to shop.

There's definitely a future business opportunity for someone to set up an alternative to the internet as it is. A second system. Could be done. A free and open system.

I find all the data mining and censorship nowadays very concerning, it will only get worse too.

The Daily Mail's feedback column has given voice to thousands of intolerant nutters all reinforcing and validating their prejudices, that are spoon-fed to them by the publication. I presume they would characterise their anger as 'righteous'

Don't know why people dis the mail so much, for one thing it was about the only daily to run a long term campaign to bring the killers (white thugs) of Stephen Lawrence to justice, but posters call it the Daily hate, strange.

Nor I, Nick. Creating fear and control is the game. Simple, really - if you are concerned, don't imbibe.

Because it's the same paper and the same readership that gleefully backed the Criminal Justice Act and the Public Order Act to stop the rest of us enjoying our freedom, that now squeal like stuffed pigs over any infringement, real or percieved, to their own freedoms.

Ironic justice is about the best your going to get in the UK after the introduction of CJA and POA, and we're reaping it in spades.
