    Hi A Boozer

    Wideline / Concentrics /Clipons,
True not as fast re modern standards but it handles well, not many places where you can use 130 hp except on a track!
Its got upswept pipes to the nearside bit like the US Triumphs from the 60/70s. not sure I like that in retrospect, might change to one each side
Pics , when I learn to download I will post

Right now, a 2003 kawasaki Vulcan 1500 Classic, but am trading it for a custom built tryke. One of a kind. Its mad from a 1999 Intruder, and all the body work is metal with matalic paint. No fiberglass anywhere. Images are not at any URL. What is a good one to post pics..? An easy to understand site please..

You are absolutely correct on that goddess Also, you don';t steer a bike like a car, you lean it.

You counter-steer the bike. The lean is a side effect of that very action.

*Dons anorak* ^ Only after you get to a certain speed when the gyroscopic effect of the wheels spinning come into play.

    Steering a bike

I didn't want to get into the technical aspect of making a bike go where you want it to go. but, you are correct. At slow speeds, you do have to turn the front wheel, but also you must either lean the bike in one direction while the body in the opposite direction. DEPENDING ON SPEED OF COURSE. But, plain old parking and unparking a bike requires steering as it does at very low speeds.

At highway speeds you lean the bike in turns by gentle pulling on one hand grip and pushing on the other. AND I DO MEAN GENTLY. In hard turns, its necessary to also lean the body as well. And all of this comes very quickly to the new rider.

The red is a kawa 1500 classic. Blue is a hybrid 2 month old trike

I've got pics of it as it is now and of what she should look like when I'm finished with it. Still waiting for more parts to come in from the US. A Welsh friend just brought in a set of carbs that I wanted for spares. IT's an old bike but will be fun to ride.

It's a 1986 Kawasaki Eliminator 900. Stock is over 85hp with a top speed of about 145mph, 6 speed traney and has a driveshaft (no chain). Maybe after I get more posts in, I'll be able to post the pics.

So what kind of bikes do you guys and gals have?
Now I have a 2003 Kawasaki 1500 classic but trading it on a new trike built from a 1999 intruder 1400cc. Still has things to be added, but that in the deal.

Got some new goodies for the buell, extended to forks by 3" to give me a bit more ground clearence, and a nice set of custom triple trees. New 1" apes with internal wiring, new chrome hand controls, 2" risers, Braided lines, as well a little chrome bling for here and there. Having trouble getting a spring seat may have to pull the engine to weld seat mounts on .
Also bought a second hand CV carb and a T slide dynajet kit, suppost to run smoother than the Mukuni
I will get some pics once I get it all back together
