Well one would like to think word will already have got round whatever facility is to become his residence, and the early onset Alzheimers has already affected the screws, who will then "accidentally" leave him in positions of danger - on a regular basis.

I don't believe in capital punishment either, but why any decent society would ever let this creep out of prison while he was still breathing is a total fucking mystery.

You know, I am starting to think that the days of baying mobs with pitchforks and torches may not have been all bad. What is happening?

THREE for fuck's sake. How evil can you get?!

Three-year-old boy tortured and left for dead after his babysitter sold him for sex in exchange for meth and his mother did nothing to stop it

    By Paul Thompson

A three-year-old boy has been left fighting for his life after being 'sold' by his babysitter to two men who raped and tortured the toddler.

Police said the boy from Oklahoma was forced to drink bleach and had part of his skull torn off during the horrific assault.

His face, eyes and throat were all covered in chemical burns and he had been hanged from a ceiling with a dog collar.

Investigators said Jennifer Chapman, who was looking after the boy, allegedly offered him to two men for sex in exchange for methamphetamine.

The two men allegedly raped and tortured the boy for several hours before returning him to 43-year-old Chapman at the Oklahoma motel where she was staying with the boy's mother Leana Lauck.

According to police when Lauck, 31, saw the injuries to her son she decided against taking him to hospital for urgent treatment and instead began taking meth with her friend.

An arrest report revealed that the boy, who has not been named, suffered for 18 hours before he was taken to hospital.

A police report revealed the toddler was taken to the Children's Hospital in Oklahoma City with numerous bruises on his body.

He also had an injury on the base of his skull with the possibility of brain injury.

'The scalp was removed, part of it,' said family member Stacy Felkins.

'His big sister said, 'I saw people trying to make him drink stuff, then he went to sleep and I think he's dead.

'He may die and he's had things happen to him that may never go away if he does make it. It makes me sick.'

'I think jail would be too good for them,' said Ms Felkins.

'That's the most evil thing you can do.'

Police say they are still searching for the two men responsible for the actual abuse.

The boy's mother told police she knew her son was badly injured but was afraid to seek treatment for fear of what would happen to her.

She told detectives she chose to smoke meth while her son lay in agony in the same motel room.

'To have somebody commit such an act of violence on an innocent child is horrific for anybody to see,' said Oklahoma City Police Department Sgt Jennifer Wardlow.

Lauck has been charged with child neglect while Chapman faces similar charges.

^ Holy shit. Maybe if just the once they did permit locals or relatives or anyone who had heard , read whatever, the legal nod to hunt these sick sods down and torch 'em at the stake if only the once, to show what people should expect as comeuppence for these hideous acts of cruelty it would do the world a bit of good surely.??

A SELF-confessed sex demon who raped an unconscious 14-year-old girl chose the most horrible way to try to dispose of his victim when he poured petrol over her stricken body and set her alight, a judge said today.

Supreme Court Justice Paul Coghlan said Michael Hermogenes, told police "self preservation'' was behind his attempt to murder the teenager and it was difficult to think of a worse case.
Justice Coghlan said Hermogenes had caused horrific lifelong injuries to the girl, who had trusted him and called him "brother'' in Filipino.
Justice Coghlan jailed Hermogenes for 21 years with a 16 year minimum.
The judge said the church youth leader arranged through an internet chat site to go the victim's home, calling her school and pretending to be her father before saying she would not attend that day.
Hermogenes purchased two four packs of mixed alcoholic drinks and two shot glasses and when he got to the house he plied the girl with alcohol and took revealing photographs of her.
    Start of sidebar.

The judge said he attacked the teenager, trying to strangle her with her school stockings and when she was unconscious he then raped her.
Hermogenes dragged her, naked and unconscious, into a bathroom and placed her body face down on the floor and went to buy petrol from a service station.
"Knowing she was unconscious, you left the house and went to buy petrol, that is, you had given thought to what you were going to do,'' Justice Coghlan said.
"You were not prepared to leave anything to chance, so you purchased a box of matches. Your motive was to cover up what you had done, including the rape of your unconscious victim.
"You piled clothes on top of her body and then poured the petrol on top of her and around the general area of the second level of the house. You also placed some deodorant cans from your car near her body.”
The judge said Hermogenes knew she was still alive, telling police “her back was moving up and down”.
Justice Coghlan said that as he set fire to the house he also set fire to his pants, which had been splashed with petrol and he ran outside and rolled around in the grass, before escaping..
A man who was passing noticed the smoke and called Triple Zero and if it had not been for his intervention the teenager would have certainly died.
"When asked why you had attempted to murder her and set the house alight you said it was due to self preservation,'' Justice Coghlan said.
"And when you were asked why you sexually assaulted her you responded 'I can’t give a reason. Sexual demons. I was possessed and in a drunken state'.''
The day after he tried to kill the girl Hermogenes went to a church meeting where prayers were being said for her.
Justice Coghlan said Hermogenes told police his recollection of what happened when he went to the girl’s bedroom was “blurry” because of the amount of alcohol he consumed but there was no doubt about his motives.
"I am satisfied that you set up this meeting fully meaning to take sexual advantage of her and that was a major reason for taking the alcohol.”
"You admitted to a psychologist that you were sexually attracted to her.''
Hermogenes, 25, of Hoppers Crossing, pleaded guilty to attempted murder, rape, indecent assault, producing child pornography, arson and theft.
As Justice Coghlan read out his sentence Hermogenes' mother wept in the public benches and was comforted by family members.
The judge said the girl had full thickness burns to 50 per cent of her body and spent a year in hospital.
He detailed a massive catalogue of injuries that included having part of a foot amputated, infection that led to loss of skin grafts, bleeding from gastric ulcers, a disorder relating to blood clotting that required multiple transfusions, and kidney failure requiring readmission to the Intensive Care Unit.
The teenager will never be able to drive, has suffered severe damage to her vocal chords and has two sets of pressure garments which she needs to wear for 22 to 23 hours a day and requires a silicone dressing to be worn over all raised scar areas.
"She will suffer from them for the rest of her life in the most profound way and will need daily care. Her victim impact statement which was read to the Court was moving,'' Justice Coghlan said.
The total damage to the teenager's home was over $110,000 and her family had suffered financial hardship because of the crime.
In a separate incident Hermogenes took advantage of a friend after a birthday party, taking revealing photographs of her as she lay sleeping and touching and kising her buttocks.

Seems a light sentence considering the crime. Is it because she lived? Does murder and attempted murder carry a different sentence in Aus? Seems odd if so as it's the same crime really.

What a sad fucking world. While the strong feeling for revenge is understandable, the fact is that we've all had a hand in fucking things up to some degree. Either by turning our back to neighbourliness and helpfulness and instead pursuing nothing but money and consumerism, or by going soft on crime and criminals.

I think it's a bit of both actually.

No both carry life. this guy will do a few years in Max then move to medium security. will end up in a country protection prison with swimming pool and golf course. Even max have swimming pools. He will eat better than most pesioners and have first class medical and dental. The only bad thing about prison in Vic is the people you have to share it with. Jim

I don't agree with that Tom. The British public are routinely in favour of harsher sentences and the reintroduction of the death penalty. They just can't find a politician brave enough to say he will do it, and honest enough to fight for it when elected.

Politicians are the ones to blame, they're too busy seeing how much they can make out of public service instead of looking at what they can and should contribute.

All of them. Scum sucking bottom feeders the lot.

    He'd be in protection already.
The golf course was shut down after TV helicopters filmed crooks playing on it, years ago
The swimming pools in maximum are off limits due to water restrictions, kept full of recycled/reclaimed water as a secondary fire fighting measure

Couldn't agree more re the meals though, and the rats still complain. First class medical? Well... he'll be catered for but I hardly believe a "first class" doctor or dentist would work in the prison system when they could be raking it in at their own practice working one or two days a week.

Been out of the system a few years now, but we used to take them to see the specialists. the dentist were not the best though. Food in the last place I worked was self catering and most had steak more often than I could have ever afforded. Jim

Saw an article on ACA one night (I know, their programs are generally crap) about a sponsor a pensioner program. It pointed out how hard it is for a lot of Aussie old age pensioners. Can't afford to eat properly, or turn on the heating with the rises in electricity prices... compare it to how prisoners eat and live and it was quite a touching article. I thought if my grandparents were in a situation like that I'd be devastated.

I disagree with the people who compare jails to hotels (though some of the dives I've stayed in over the years were pretty close), but they definately eat alright, and as you say they do get medical treatment when needed. If you or I had to see a specialist we'd be paying through the arse unless we were well insured.

Thing is, it depends upon the maximum tariff set by the home secretary for this type of offence.

Maybe - but the first part about losing a sense of community and neighbourliness (the first part of my sentence) you didn't address. It's always easy to blame someone else for the state of the world today - but we're all to blame to one degree or another and in one way or another.

Why waste tax payers money on keeping this despicable thing alive? The death penalty may not deter others but it certainly rids the earth of bastards like this.
I am totally in favour of the death penalty and even if they got it wrong occasionally maybe it would at least make those who contemplate these violations think twice.
