A schoolboy has told how his obsessed teacher seduced him at her home after sending him a string of steamy text messages.

Hina Patel, 37, admitted having sex with two 15-year-old pupils while working as a supply teacher at an all-boys comprehensive.

The mother of two faces jail when she appears at Liverpool Crown Court for sentencing on Monday.

Last night one of her victims, a pupil at Birkdale High School in Merseyside, claimed the relationship began when Patel slipped him her mobile phone number on a scrap of paper while he was in detention.

He said she sent him text messages including one which read: 'My knees tremble when I see you.'


The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, said she later invited him round to her £200,000 house.

He said that almost immediately she led him upstairs to her bedroom and said: 'Get in bed, the electric blanket's on.'
The boy, now 16, said: 'We went straight upstairs and I saw her kids' room with all the toys on the floor.


'In her room she had loads of teddy bears on her bed. It was a bit weird, not what you expect from your teacher.


'There wasn't much conversation – we just got down to it.'
The boy claimed that Patel, who had been brought in as a temporary supervisor to deal with issues such as bullying and truancy, was widely regarded by pupils as a flirt.

The teenager, a Year 11 pupil at the 930-boy comprehensive, said: 'I got sent to isolation and Hina was on duty. She was talking to me about why I got sent there and telling me to calm down.

'Then, out of nowhere, she just slipped me her number on a little bit of paper. I was amazed and confused.

'I didn't tell my mates straight away but I was texting her, trying to keep it quiet.'


He claimed the pair exchanged around eight text messages a day, even when they were both in classes at the school.
He said after ten days of texting messages back and forth, Patel invited him to her semi-detached home in nearby Hightown.


The boy said: 'I asked her if her husband was home and she told me she was divorced and that's where the kids were. She asked if I wanted to come around, and I said: "Yes". I was probably only gone about 90 minutes in total. It was so surreal.'

Birkdale High School: Patel worked as a supply teacher and was listed on the school website as a wellbeing officer for the most junior pupils


After the encounter, the boy said he then passed the teacher's number to a schoolfriend who also began to text her.
The teenager said his friend also embarked upon a relationship with the teacher and she would text both pupils.


'She texted us both lots of weird stuff, that she loves us and stuff,' he said.


'My friend had sex with her three or four times and he stayed over at her house once.' Patel was suspended from Birkdale High as soon as the allegations came to light.

In court she pleaded guilty to two charges of abusing her position of trust by sexual misconduct with two 15-year-old boys in February and March.


Headteacher Gary Loveridge said: 'I am appalled she used her position in such a way. We are relieved we fou nd out at such an early stage – but it just shows how you have to be very vigilant and your processes have to be robust.'
