James Le Mesurier, White Helmets co-founder, discovered dead in Turkey

    A case for TDCSI methinks...

A former British Army officer honoured by the Queen for his work with the White Helmets civil defence group in Syria has been found dead in Turkey.
The body of James Le Mesurier, who received an OBE in 2016, was discovered on Monday near his home in Istanbul, White Helmet sources told the BBC.
Mr Le Mesurier set up the Mayday Rescue emergency response group, which helped train White Helmets volunteers.
The cause of death is not known. Turkey has launched an investigation.

In a tweet, the White Helmets said the group "learned with shock and sadness the news" of the death of Mr Le Mesurier.
Hamish de Bretton-Gordon, a director of the Doctors Under Fire campaign group and a friend of Mr Le Mesurier, said: "It's absolutely tragic. He was one of the few people who have made a humanitarian footprint in Syria."
Mr de Bretton-Gordon said the White Helmets had a very "strong structure" and their work would continue. But he said Mr Le Mesurier's death had left a "hole to fill".
What do we know about Le Mesurier's death?

Mr Le Mesurier's body was found at about 04:30 local time (01:30 GMT) on the street near his home and office in Istanbul's Beyoglu district on the European side of the city.

The Istanbul governor's office later said a "comprehensive" investigation had been launched.
    Who was Le Mesurier?

Mr Le Mesurier, who was believed to be in his 40s at the time of his death and had also worked for the United Nations, was considered a co-founder of the White Helmets.
The organisation, which is also known as the Syria Civil Defence, helps rescue civilians caught up in attacks in areas of Syria controlled by the opposition to President Bashar al-Assad.

Later the same year the group was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.
But the Syrian government and its allies Russia and Iran have accused the White Helmets of openly aiding terrorist organisations.
The Russian foreign ministry tweeted about Mr Le Mesurier last week, alleging that he was a former agent of the UK's Secret Intelligence Service, better known as MI6.

Did he fall of his balcony or was he pushed?

The BBC fvcked up and showed his body briefly on the floor. They immediately apologised after the program.

Yeah right. Russia isn't that stupid. Russia is the only country in the world that is having the balls to balance against the hegemonic USA. It has to make its moves carefully. It cannot operate like the CIA and go around knocking ppl off that it doesn't like

The Syria war and regime change is officially over. And nothing says it so more than this.

All the dirty hands involved, have to go. The last thing the CIA needs is for a guy like this to get religious and come clean on it 5 years hence.

It would make for a good book deal and career revival. He'd probably have a job waiting for him at RT too. Just like John Kariako.

If only one had to do that to have one's life endangered!

How about the entire population of Salisbury UK?

If it had been somewhere in the US instead then faux 'alternative thinkers' in the US would be singing a very different tune.

Salisbury was finally declared safe in March of this year btw.

Out from the balcony. An usual style in London, not so sophisticated as "novichok" in Salisbury . And the investigation does not cost so much...

Who killed the 20th century’s greatest spy?

When Ashraf Marwan fell to his death from the balcony of a London flat, he took his secrets with him. Was he working for Egypt or Israel? And did the revelation of his identity lead to his murder?

This much is certain: Ashraf Marwan, a man some describe as the 20th century’s greatest spy, was alive when he tumbled from the fifth-floor balcony of his £4.4m London flat. The Egyptian businessman landed, shortly after 1.30pm on 27 June 2007, in the private rose garden at number 24 Carlton House Terrace, a street whose former occupants include three prime ministers (Palmerston, Earl Grey and Gladstone) and which lies a few hundred metres from Piccadilly Circus. Overhead, the lunchtime sky was obnoxious with helicopters, swarming above Tony Blair’s Teflon-plated convoy as it carried the prime minister to Buckingham Palace, where he would hand in his resignation. A woman screamed. Someone called the police. The paramedics arrived too late. Marwan died from a ruptured aorta.

The details of the final minutes of Marwan’s life are much more opaque. Not that there weren’t witnesses: on the morning of his death, four men were meeting on the third floor of an adjacent building, 116 Pall Mall, in a room with a clear view of Marwan’s balcony. In a curious twist, these men – József Répási, Essam Shawki, Michael Parkhurst and John Roberts – worked for one of Marwan’s companies, Ubichem PLC; they were waiting for their boss to join them. He was late. When they called around midday to find out why, he assured the group that he would be with them shortly.

Sounds like the dad is a bit fucking senile.

"You know how much this cost? THIRTY EIGHT MILLION DOLLARS!".

A lethal dose of Polonium costs about $10,000 US.

I'm pretty sure even Vlad could dig that out of his Abbey National Every Day Saver account.

The point is, once both sides are known to lie and cheat just as much as each other, assigning blame for one event or another, is harder than you think

    Way to contradict yourself.

Also, generally speaking, if a Russian dissident or journalist critical of Putin is suddenly found dead then it's not very likely it was Frosty the Fucking Snowman is it, assigning blame is pretty easy.

I only said that Russia lies. I never said that it also has free reign all over the world to do what it wants.

And because people LIKE YOU think that, is why the CIA can go around committing false flags, like poisoning some nobody from the 1990's in a UK park JUST , BEFORE, THE OPENING CEREMONIES OF THE WORLD CUP HOSTED IN RUSSIA.

Or shoot an airliner out of the sky over Ukraine just after sanctions on Russia were voted down in Europe. Gee I wonder what the vote result will be next time...

WASHINGTON — In a footnote to a tragic mistake, the CIA revealed Monday that 16 retired and current officers were given administrative punishments for their role in Peru’s 2001 shootdown of a plane that killed two innocent Americans from Muskegon.
American missionary Veronica Bowers and her infant daughter were killed when their plane was shot down after it was wrongly identified by the Peruvian Air Force

It's not just that I think that, it's a fact that Russian dissidents and Putin critics have a rather unhealthy habit of turning up dead.

But hey you just go and crank another one off over your Putin-shirtless-on-a-horsey pic and forget all about it, comrade.

If you look closer, there was more political assassinations under Yeltin than Putin.

I'll have a good list from a reputable source that proves this later

    Great.

So then, so far: the CIA are cnuts and there were more political assassinations under Yeltsin (allegedly) so that makes Putin killing people OK 'cos he poses shirtless on horsies?

The Anglo axis is the hegemon of the world. Russia doesn't operate on the same level as they do outside of Russia .
The USSR did. But that was the big bi polar world when there was 2 superpowers.

But that's no longer. Russia is a great power +. Not a superpower. So it isnt casually going around the world knocking off whoever it wants

But you are still living in the blind world.

Its far more complicated than that. Nemsov was killed by the CIA. He was irrelevant with 1% support. Russia will always be Russia.

Now you're really trotting out some crap.

If the CIA had done it Putin would be screaming it from the rooftops instead of fudging an investigation that tries to blame everyone from Ukraine to Chechnya.

    For fuck sake dog nuts

Gorbachev, Yeltsin, Putin 1, and Medvedev all bent over backwards to try and make peace with the US. Russia gave away its empire without a drop of blood spilled. And it was Putin in his second term who finally had fucking enough. Putin politely brought it up with George Bush in his first term, that the Chechen leadership was hiding out in London and collaborating with the CIA. Bush had no answer for him. Because the CIA under the Berzynski doctrine, wanted to do the same with Russia as they did with Yugoslavia. Bust it up into these weak blood states.

I believe most Americans and even half of the naive polity want to be a fair country. And they could be. Its the fucking CIA and their supporters who think they have to be playing this empire game like the British did. But no. They have these stupid crazy grand visions for the world and crazy ideas.

I could post links proving that the Berzynski doctrine and the Albright doctrine exist. But you wont read them. I didn't read them when i was on your side. You will figure it out yourself.
