I knew only the word Druze until I briefly met here in Oz a guy who described himself as one. He was a young guy of about 20, huge, and strikingly good-looking. Must have been a fair bit of diversity in those genes.

From what I've been told, the Druze are actually an ethnically diverse genre of "Sabra" Jews, and Palestinian Christian/Muslims,...many of whom have known each other since childhood.... Thanks for the url link.

Indeed, spot on. I really did have the honor of spending quality time with a Druze couple while traveling in Turkey, last year.
