Malawi leader of poor nation vows to buy private jet

Calls to halt Britain's £400m aid after Malawi leader vows to buy PRIVATE JET

THE president of one of the world's poorest nations has vowed to buy himself a PRIVATE JET - as British taxpayers' prepare to take their spending on foreign aid for the country close to £400m.

Malawi's leader Peter Mutharika has revealed he wants an Air Force One-style presidential jet in order to avoid airport queues or the "inconvenience" of waiting for flights.

Actually, if they're "aiding" financially, it might be more valuable for the Brits to underwrite and organize a coup to rid Malawi of such scum.

The trouble with Malawi is nothing new when it comes to another african leader wanting
all the trappings of a western leader as in a private plane etc, except they cannot afford to buy it or have it maintained in the country, it is all about ego.
When president Banda got independence he just cruised along but he hated any westerner who had hair over their collar, just like Singapore at the time .
the GNP of the country is about 50% foreign aid and when joyce Banda had to face elections a few years ago because of corruption and the main donors like the stupid british and EU finally saw what what was happening, they cut off aid and made her have free elections, she did not like it ,just like her good mate and backer next door, the fearless leader Magabe, she got the arse but another corrupt prick as in Mutharika took her place and wants the aid to still flow.
The EU and Britain should just cut off all aid for it is a bottomless pit, why support education, health, etc, when the local leaders could not give a stuff for their own people

On my flight down on Sunday night I scored a row 4 window with nobody else in the row even though the flight was busy.

In my world that is a result!
